Leader: Mark F, meeting at Walk Start

Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform, at Piccadilly station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at Stockport station.

Transport to Walk Start: 10:47 train from Manchester Piccadilly (final destination Buxton).

Suggested Ticket: Off Peak Day Return to Stockport £5.70.

Walk Start: Stockport Railway Station at 11:00.

Waypoints: Stockport Interchange, Heaton Norris Park, Trans Pennine Trail, Midshires Way, Woodbank Park, Vernon Park, New Bridge Lane Woods.

Return Services: Numerous train services.

Extra: Toilets at walk start (rail users only). No toilets en route. Optional pub visit at the end of the walk. Please do not bring your dog (apart from registered assistance dogs).
