Overview

This walk explores Virginia Water (a lake), Valley Gardens (which overlooks it), Windsor Great Park (a forest and deer park), and the Long Walk to Windsor Castle. 

Lunch: Picnic, coffee available at the café in the Savill Garden Gift Shop in Windsor Great Park.

Train: London Waterloo 9:50, Clapham Junction 09:58; Arr Sunningdale 10:38. Buy a day return to  Sunningdale and single from Windsor & Eton Riverside Station to Staines. Freedom Pass valid up to Feltham.
