Overview

This walk takes you along footpaths and bridleways above and along the River Tyne.

From Wylam we take the Tyne and Wear Heritage Way south before making our way west to High Mickley and Mickley Square. Our return brings us back along the Tyne via the Spetchells.

Please meet at the main car park in Wylam located to the east of the Great War Memorial (see map). The start can be reached by train to Wylam.
