This is a classic walk along Hadrian's Wall viewing the magnificent crags from the north.
Our route from the Sill at Once Brewed climbs to Steel Rigg from where we follow the Hadrian's Wall path east through Housesteads to King's Wicket. From here we drop down on the north side of the HW path close to Broomlee Lough and west along tracks with views over Crag Lough via Longside, Peatrigg Plantation, and Peel to Twice Brewed.

Please meet at the Sill Discovery Centre, Once Brewed (£5 day parking). Car sharing is recommended. The start point can be reached by the AD122 bus from Hexham.
