Overview

This walk goes around the forested edge of the park and there is a lakeside coffee stop. Fellow members, who helped me recce this walk all seemed pleasantly surprised by the beauty of it. It is is easy to get to and there is free parking. There is a lovely lunch stop where we can buy a drink.

There are toilets (clean) at the lunch stop. The cafe accepts card payment above £5 only and cash below this amount - it is clean but basic inside. On the recce we didn't need to worry about our boots as they weren't muddy.
