Overview

From the car park we take the track opposite Scripts Garage then the foot path to the Mallyan Spout Hotel. From here we go down to West Beck and an option to see the waterfall but it does involve a bit of clambering over boulders. We then head to Beck Hole and pick up the Grosmont Rail Trail to Grosmont where we will have lunch. There is now a short climb up the road out of Grosmont before leaving it to take the path through the Crag Cliffe Wood. We cross over the railway line and have another short climb and back to Goathland
