A walk in my backyard

From my house we walk along the snickets and alleyways of downtown Kirkbymoorside and head west through the new estate and over fields to Kirkdale. There we walk on the path above the wood to the Mill at Hold Caldron and continue on the Tabular Hills Walk heading north on Caldron Mill Road (track) to pick up a path across  fields to Fadmoor. Walking on the footpath to Gillamoor we then head south on Woodhead Field Lane passing Cockpit Hall and High Park Farm and on past the Golf Course and into Manor Vale Woodland and back into town. An excellent walk that I have done many times comprising of woodland tracks, field paths and road walking.
