We offer walks in London and Home Counties, accessible by public transport.
At a relaxed pace the walk ascends to Rushmere Pond on Wimbledon Common and descends to Beverley Brook and Queensmere Pond. There will be a morning stop at the Windmill (toilets) then on to further ponds before returning to the Windmill for a late lunch. After lunch the walk visits further ponds and finishes in Wimbledon Village with buses back to Wimbledon Station.
Lunch:- picnic/cafe a the Windmill. Toilets available.
Train:- London Waterloo 10.06, Clapham Junction10.14 arrives Wimbledon 10.22. Wimbledon station is also on the district Line and Thameslink.
Wimbledon Station forecourt at the entrance to the ticket office and near underground platforms 1-4.
