Walking in Derbyshire
Our local groups are organised into 59 regional areas.
As Ramblers areas, we help our local community to discover and enjoy walking. We’re committed to protecting the places we all love to walk to make sure they remain open to everyone.
We help look after paths and green spaces, we open up new places to explore and we act as the leading voice on walking matters near you. We’re often the first point of contact for the Ramblers with local government, other local charities, and the local offices of national bodies such as Natural England.
We also support our local Ramblers groups to organise regular group walks. They are a great way to experience the outdoors and explore new places safely and in good company. You’ll get a warm welcome from our experienced walk leaders and like-minded walkers.
If you’ve got any questions about our activities or how to get involved, please do get in touch with us.
