Overview

Starting from the main National Trust carpark we walk beside Aira Beck, past all the waterfalls to the hamlet of Dockray and then onto Watermillock Common. We continue climbing over the common to reach an intake wall which we follow alongside Swineside Knott and enjoy spectacular views over Ullswater. We return downhill to Aira Force across a mixture of woodland and pasture.
