Overview

The walk starts in Rosthwaite and follows a rocky track uphill to Watendlath, where coffee can be enjoyed by the Tarn. The walk continues by the Watendlath Beck, descending on a rugged path to the road and continuing to Derwentwater for lunch. The return is alongside the River Derwent.
