Starting at Richmond Station we will walk via the Deer Park to Richmond Bridge and then up the escarpment, enjoying the views, to Richmond Park. From Richmond Park we will descend to Ham Common and then through Ham to Teddington Lock. We then have about a 25 minute walk through Teddington to reach the gates of Bushey Park. The lunch stop will be at the Pheasantry Cafe. After lunch we will walk through the Pheasantry and to the gates of Hampton Court Park. We walk alongside the Long Water and out through Surbiton Gate to the riverside from where we will walk beside the River Thames to finish at Kingston Station.
Packed lunch is recommended however snacks and hot drinks are available at the Pheasantry Cafe.
Lavatory facilities are available within Richmond Station at the start, at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park and at the Pheasantry Cafe in Bushy Park.
Drop out points are available at Teddington Station in the morning and Hampton Court Station in the afternoon.
No booking required.
Walking shoes would be fine.
