Enjoy this section of the one of the most unspoiled stretches of the North Down Ways taking you between Guildford and Dorking via Chantry Wood, St Martha's Hill and Ranmore Common.
The walk takes you through a varied route not just through the grassy ridges with their fine views. The Downs here are a mix of woodland, forestry plantation and grazed downland.
The route is quite undulating, with an demanding climb to St Martha's Hill, and may present a challenge to the knees.
Please bring a packed lunch, and we plan to stop for an early lunch at Newlands Corner, where we can use their facilitates (benches, toilet and Ice cream)
No booking required.
The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors such as, weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of breaks taken.
