This is a typical Derbyshire walk with lovely views. Starting from Ambergate we go east to Pentrich, then head north towards South Wingfield before returning to Ambergate via Crich village. The walk is mostly on field paths and tracks with a little bit of road walking. There are several ascents and descents, some on uneven or muddy ground. There are also some stiles.

Please bring a packed lunch.
Walking poles may be useful for some of the descents.
Park in Ambergate Station £1.50 for all day - card or cash.
