Overview

Starting from Long Clawson Village Hall car park we walk out of the village past the village church, over Slyborough Hill and down to the church at Nether Broughton. We continue the circuit ascending the scenic Leicestershire Wolds at Bleak Hills and Fox Holes with panoramic views – this is a steeper section but with overall ascent being fairly modest at 520 ft (160m). We descend back towards Long Clawson central village through Mill Farm and along Mill Lane.
Paths are generally good although with some mud to be expected if wet - and a few stiles. There is a short section of road verge walking.
