Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.

A walk on the lower foot hills of the Chilterns passing Chinnor and skirting the edges of Princes Risborough, the largest town on the Ridgway route. Then crosses Grangelands and Pulpit Hill Nature Reserve and passes nearby Chequers, the Prime Ministers country house. Towards the end of the walk we cross Coombe Hill passing the Boer War monument.
There are some ascents and descents. Walking speed will be approx 3mph. Dress suitably for the time of year.
There is a exit point at Princess Risborough.
Please bring a packed lunch.

Take the Oxford Tube Bus departure 10:07 from Hillingdon Station (Metropolitan and Picadilly Line) arriving at Lewknor 10:36.
Return
Wendover Train Station bus to Amersham Train Station (approx every half hour), change for the Metropolitan line, trains to Baker Street.
No booking requird.
