Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.
Walking at steady pace, a mostly flat walk which will take us past tranquil reservoirs, along the canal and through woddy areas.
There will be an exit point after 5km which will take you back to Tottenham Hale Station, Ferry Inn or Walthamstow Wetlands Engine House Cafe.
There will be breaks including a lunch point at Springfield Park which includes a small cafe. Please bring both credit card and small notes/change.
Travel: Take the Victoria Underground Line or a train from Liverpool Street Station arriving in Tottenham Hale Railway Station at the start time
Dogs are not allowed.
Though it is mostly wheelchair accessible, there will be points where wheelchair users will need to use the lower paths. There will be a point in which they can go up an incline to take photos of the reservoir but this will be towards the end.
No booking required.
The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors such as, weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of breaks taken.
Tottenham Hale Railway Station For anyone driving, there is a car park at Walthamstow Wetlands. If you don't wish to meet at the tube station, please call the walk leader in advance to meet at a secondary meeting point.
