Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.
Join me to find and see some of the 100 decorated large-scale eggs, brought to life by iconic names in not only art, but also design, interiors, food and retail. With the likes of Anya Hindmarch, LUAP, Fortnum & Mason, Philip Colbert, Duncan Campbell & Charlotte Rey involved, this amalgamation of talented creators guarantees a spectacle for the whole City to enjoy.
The scattered 2ft egg sculptures as part of a free-to-view trail across iconic locations and landmarks. The eggs are only on display for a limited time and then will be auctioned for charity - supporting vital conservation work to protect habitats and wildlife in South Asia.
We will start at Temple and go to Covent Gardens before heading to Buckingham Palace and Victoria.
We will finish with largest number in Ebury Street and Sloane Street before retiring to the Pub at the Gloucester , 187 Sloane Street, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 9QR
