Overview

A delightful walk through one of the Lake District's most picturesque valleys. Starting from Rosthwaite we follow the footpath beside Stonethwaite Beck to its junction with the Langstrath valley, then back on its other side through Stonethwaite and towards Seatoller. Next we gain the terrace path and continue past Castle Crag to meet the river Derwent and return via the riverside path to Rosthwaite.
