Overview

The walk begins in Bampton.  It rises uphill onto Bampton Common before descending to the waterfalls of Measand Beck and the path beside Haweswater Reservoir.  It returns to Bampton through Burnbanks, past Thornthwaite Force and Rosgill Bridge and then by field paths beside the River Lowther.
