Overview

Starting from Threlkeld Cricket Club, we cross the A66 at the pedestrian crossing, this will be done with care.  Passing through the village we cross through pasture fields towards Wescoe.  We drop down to a pretty glen and cross a footbridge over the Glenderaterra Beck.  We then begin our long, steady ascent onto the summit of Latrigg, using good tracks.  Once rested and having enjoyed the views we will drop off the north of the fell top for our descent. We eventually reach the Keswick - Threlkeld Railway path where we begin our gentle return to the start point, hopefully stopping off at the village cafe for tea and cake.
