This linear walk combines sections of the Green Chain and Capital Ring to provide a rich mix of green spaces, wooded areas and lovely views.
There are a number of small streams and ponds along the route. The route goes through The Horniman Gardens, Sydenham Hill Wood, Crystal Palace Park, Alexandra Recreation Ground, Cator Park and Beckenham Place Park.
Crystal Palace, Penge East, New Beckenham and Ravensbourne are all train stations along the route offering the option for a shorter walk should you wish to do so instead of continuing to the end station.
Please bring a packed lunch.

Travel:
Walk starts at Forest Hill Railway Station. Use oyster/contactless. Freedom Pass is valid for the start and end station and all stations along this trail.
