Overview

At a moderate pace with a couple of long fairly steep ascents up the ridges of the South Downs and following the South Downs Way.Great views from the wide open tops which are quite exposed if it is windy or very hot.We stop for lunch in Rodmell (the village where Virginian Woolf lived.)We then walk  via Telscombe to Saltdean, to pick up a bus to Brighton and train back from Brighton to London.

We are returning from Brighton but buy return to Lewes as advised by Saturday Walkers club (and it does work.)
