Bermondsey to Brockley provides for a varied time honoured walk in the footsteps of Dr Alfred Salter, John Evelyn, Samuel Pepys, Peter the Great and Christopher Marlowe. Our trek from Bermondsey takes us to Rotherhithe, Stave Hill, Surrey Quays, Deptford and on to Brockley. An urban trail of discovery with opportunities for further exploration.
Docks, creeks, woodlands, parks, churches, community gardens, viewpoints and large Victorian houses feature along the trail. This walk is on hard surface underfoot; comfortable trainers may be preferred to sturdy walking boots. Please bring a packed lunch.
